Personal Artist Statement
I take pride in the art I create. I put in hard work and I strive to make my art look as presentable and unique as possible. I follow the rules and guidelines needed for my projects but I also add unique ideas to my work. I film on my phone and I edit with final cut pro. I like final cut pro because It has many tools I can use to make my work look unique. I add smooth transitions and when I add music I make sure it flows with videos. Whenever I add captions I make sure they grab the viewer’s attention. The projects I have made in this class are My Life, PSA, Script, How to, and the portfolio. I try to convey excitement, happiness, and joy into my work. I want my art to make people happy and make people feel inspired. My work reflects on all of the positive aspects in my life. I am inspired by my friends and people I look up to. Some people I look up to are Obama, Seth Rogen, and Ninja. I strive to be as creative and bold as them. As an artist I want to break barriers and make art like no one has ever seen before. I strive to be as great as possible. Right now my art is not as great as I want it to be but I know that there is always room for improvement and I can make my work better. Schoolwork is getting in the way of my creative process and I need to get my head in the right place and then I know I will achieve success. I am grateful for this class and I have had a great time. I am much looking forward to next trimester.
